Top Norwich On the Water

The perfect tour for any fan of maritime history or sea-faring exploits, this tour of Lewstoft harbor takes in all the sites in and around the harbor. Sail out into the bay, and find wrecks and historic vessels — as well as working ones — you wouldn’t see from land. Learn about the history of Lowestoft and its connections to fishing, trade and the sea.

Set sail from Lowestoft on a seal spotting trip that takes in the picturesque coasts of Gorleston and Great Yarmouth. Enjoy speeding along on the ocean on your way to the seals, then get your binoculars at the ready as you slow down to see where the seals are basking on sand banks and bobbing in the water — this trip does not disturb the seals.

Unlike a typical sightseeing boat trip, this experience puts travellers at the centre of the action aboard a real high performance jet powered RIB. Guests do not just sit back and watch, they have the opportunity to take the helm under professional guidance and experience how a commercial jet boat handles on the water. Operating from the busy maritime environment of Lowestoft Harbour, the trip combines high speed coastal adventure with genuine hands on navigation and vessel operation. Travellers can experience professional onboard systems including radar, AIS tracking, autopilot and digital chart navigation while exploring the Suffolk and Norfolk coastline from a unique perspective. Each trip is tailored to the conditions and group interests, blending excitement, local knowledge, maritime industry, wildlife and coastal sightseeing into a one of a kind East Coast boating experience.
