A tour to experience the food culture of fermentation (hakko), which has attracted worldwide attention in recent years. You will learn about fermentation at the brewery of Kuma Shochu, which has a history of over 400 years in Hitoyoshi Kuma, make traditional pickles by hand and enjoy learning about ‘mame’ and ‘fermentation’, which have taken root in the local food culture (places visited will be arranged according to customer needs).

Women will change into plain white wedding kimonos and colorful uchikake kimonos. A professional hairdresser will style your hair in a traditional Japanese hairstyle and apply makeup to match the Japanese hairstyle. Japanese hairstyles are a rare experience. Specialized staff will assist you in dressing. Men will wear crested hakama, the most formal kimono. Enjoy a moment filled with various aspects of Japanese culture. An accompanying photographer will take photos at Suizenji Jojuen Garden, which boasts a 400-year history.

Explore the natural and historical cultural spots of Nagomi Town in Kumamoto Prefecture on a guided cycling tour. Visit the Eta Funayama Burial Mound, Higo Minka Village, and the mysterious Tonkararin Tunnel. Meet your guide and set off on your bike to explore the Eta Funayama Burial Mound, a nationally designated historic site built in the late 5th century. Next, head to Higo Minka Village, a collection of traditional houses featuring unique shops and restored old homes. Continue to the mysterious Tonkararin Tunnel, whose creator, purpose, and time of construction remain unknown. Finally, cycle through mountain paths that preserve the original rural scenery of Nagomi Town.

This is a special cultural program in Uto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, where you can experience the soul-shaking sound of Japan. The experience begins with you first crafting your own original bachi or drumsticks, which are considered your essential "partner" or aibo for playing the taiko. You will then use your custom-made bachi to play the "Uto Amagoi Taiko," a National Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property with a history stretching back to the Edo period. A professional guide provides cheerful and fun instruction, and by the end of the 90-minute session, all participants will be able to play the Amagoi Taiko. The bachi you create can be taken home as a memento of your trip.

This tour takes you around the nature-rich Kuma region to experience the bounty of the 700-year-old Sagara Clan. Visitors can deeply experience the charm of this region through a variety of activities, including a walk along the clear Kuma River, a cooking class using local ingredients, and an electric bicycle tour of the countryside. You will also have the opportunity to visit the world-famous Kuma shochu brewery, enjoy the spectacular view from the historic castle ruins, and experience kobujutsu (ancient martial arts). We also offer special programs to experience firsthand the 700-year history of the Sagara Clan.
