  • There is a small entrance fee to view the falls, typically included in the cost of tours.

  • Due to a steep pathway and stairs, the viewing platform is difficult to access with a wheelchair or stroller.

  • There is a barrier around the lookout. With a small enough camera lens, you can shoot photographs through the holes in the fence; however, be sure to use caution when dealing with loose objects near the edge.

  • Take a dip in the spring-fed Mac Mac Pools, located 1.25 miles (2 kilometers) south; you can find bathrooms, braai (barbecue) pits, picnic tables, and plenty of green space near the pools.
