Top Kerala Classes & Workshops

Keralan cuisine can be tricky to master alone, so make the most of your south India vacation by learning the basics from a local chef. On this small-group lunchtime class in Varkala, you’ll be welcomed into a traditional house and learn to create different flavors, spice combos, and classic dishes, from "sambar"—lentil and vegetable stew—to pineapple chutney. Finish by joining your companions to lunch on your creations served “thali” style—on round platters and banana leaves.
