While some companies may claim otherwise, we prefer to be honest upfront rather than risk disappointment on the day. We will substitute this site with another College entrance, if not available on your day.
- If you select Pickup option (the more expensive one) the meeting point will be the London address (Gloucester Road Tube Station), otherwise its the Oxford one (15 Broad Street, Oxford)

A highly informative and engaging tour of the university colleges and the history of Oxford. Elliot bought lots of first hand student experience and explained how the Oxford system of teaching differs to other universities. It was wonderful to have his excellent knowledge of Latin as he was able to translate headstones within the chapels etc. We thought the tour provided excellent value and was a great insight into this ancient and fascinating university town.
Ross was a very knowledgeable guide. He did a great job describing the Oxford college experience and rich history. Very easy to understand his intelligent and entertaining presentation. He went over time making sure we were well prepared for our tour of Christ Church. 10 stars!
Great informative and interesting walking tour of Oxford University with our upbeat and adorable guide, Eloise. Tour was filled with lots of anecdotes about life at Oxford and the history behind the buildings. Well worth your time!
My friend and I took the extended Oxford tour with Christ Church included with Oscar as our guide, and it was everything we could want! Oscar was an incredible guide who knew all the relevant history and told it in an entertaining way, was great at engaging the group, and answered all questions. It was fun to hear about what life as an Oxford student is like from Oscar as a current student. It included everything we could want to see!
In town for business and was lucky enough to have an afternoon for this tour. It was so informative and entertaining and at an easy pace. It hit all of the sights as expected but with so much extra storytelling and history. Our guide, Ross, was the highlight of the tour and I would recommend a tour with him to anyone. Five stars.
This is a very cool tour to get a great overview of Oxford. We were fortunate enough to have Ross Gales (PhD) as our guide and he was a wealth of local knowledge about the town and university. We walked around a few of the major colleges and he kept us engaged and on time. You’d be lucky to have him as your local guide!
Our tour guide was hilarious and very knowledgeable about the campus and the history of Oxford and my review is in no way a reflection of him. We had gone to Windsor that morning and loved that experience so Oxford was a bit of a let down after that. At the end of the day Oxford is a school and this felt more like a traditional college tour. Very interesting none the less since Oxford operates differently than colleges in the US but it’s still a school. If I had to do it over again I would have enjoyed seeing a different English town instead.
Had a great walking tour including entry to Christchurch. Tour guide was a student and provided history and interesting stories behind various sights as well as student life. Weather was usually hot, but Tour guide kept us in shade as much as possible.

We had a wonderful experience touring the city and its famous landmarks. Our guide, Rory, was friendly and knowledgeable. He shared facts of the different landmarks and his own experiences living and studying in Oxford. It was a spectacular experience.
Will did an excellent job. He answered questions, kept us entertained and was very knowledgeable. We had a great time.

My kids and I were in Oxford for only a short weekend and this tour allowed us to see so much of the Oxford campus as well as the city. Our guide was a graduate student and shared so many insightful things about the university and campus life, which my high schooler really enjoyed.
Excellent tour that takes you into the key sights in Oxford: the Divinity School, Christ Church, and some of the colleges. Our guide Will was informative, funny and kept us all engaged. I liked the fact that it was a small group, so we could ask questions. It was also nice to hear from a student about life at Oxford Uni. Worth it!
I was so happy I chose the 3 hour tour that includes the self guided tour of Christ College for the last hour. We had to wait for the dining hall to open after lunch service but it was worth it.
It was good to include Oxford Colleges and other points of interest as everything on my list was mentioned or shown during the tour. I went back to some places later to have another look.
Our guide Thorstein was amazing. He welcomed everyone in our small group and shared his knowledge and passion for history throughout.

A great way to see and learn about so many of the top sites of Oxford. Using guides who are current or recent Oxford students is a brilliant idea as their personal experience brings an extra layer of insight and fun. Our guide Thorstein was fantastic - very personable and funny, and full of stories on the history, architecture and people who have created and been part of Oxford. We choose the 3-hour tour which I recommend as you get to see Christ Church with a self-guided audio tour and can spend as much or little time as you want for that last hour.
Good overview of Oxford. I debated b/w the 1.5 / 2 hour and 3 hour and the 3 hour extended adds the Christ Church which is the last hour and if you go on your own the tickets are around 30 pounds and sometimes difficult to get. Afterwards I think the 3 hour was worth it. It also included a very good audio headset.
We only had about 6 hours in Oxford and knew we couldn’t see all the colleges. This tour was perfect as we were able to see a good bit of the colleges and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. We were happy we didn’t try to visit Oxford on our own as we would have missed so much!
We traveled to Oxford on our own and met our guide (Matt) at the appointed place. He was very knowledgeable, made sure we saw the points of interest and answered everyone's questions. An interesting tour!

Our tour guide Sam's extordanary knowledge of the university was beyond amazing! His ability to communicate while involving all of us made is feel connected to Oxford. We all were highly engaged in the make up, traditions, and environment of the university and walked away fully understanding the gift that this esteemed university gives to the world!

We had an outstanding experience on our walking tour of Oxford University led by an alumnus. It was filled with history and interesting information. We learned a lot about the town, university, individual colleges, and noteable alumni. The Christ Church add-on was worthwhile.

Very informative and well done tour. A lot of historical content but also answered questions about how Oxford University currently and the different colleges etc. Very interesting insight from a PHD student. Will was a great guide with tons of inside knowledge and plenty of history facts! I truly believe had I had another guide I wouldn’t have enjoyed it as much. As lovely as Oxford is, Will made the difference and rolled with the schedule working around exams.
We had a PhD graduate give our tour and he was absolutely incredible. Shout out to Sam for a perfect two hours learning as much as he could possibly tell us. You cannot come to Oxford, and not hear about all of the colleges, the traditions, and the famous and infamous people who attended Oxford and have shaped history for over 1000 years. The history was fascinating, but the extra little stories that our guide, Will, told us made the whole experience come alive. University is so unique, especially coming from the states.
