A Perfectly Curated Mendoza Wine Journey—Expertly Guided, Deliciously Unforgettable 🍷

    Omar_R, Mar 2026
Our Mendoza wine tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip—thoughtfully curated, beautifully paced, and elevated by exceptional people throughout the day. A huge part of what made it so special was our driver, Gonzalo. Not only was he professional and seamless with logistics, but he also happened to be a sommelier and fluent in English. His depth of knowledge about the Mendoza wine region was remarkable—he answered every question I had (and I had plenty), offering insights into terroir, varietals, and winemaking techniques that really enriched the experience. It felt less like a tour and more like a personalized masterclass in Argentine wine. The progression of wineries was perfectly designed. We started with aromatic whites and lighter-bodied reds at Bodega SinFin, set in a stunning facility. There, we were guided by Giselle, who was equally knowledgeable and engaging, making the tasting both educational and enjoyable. From there, we moved into fuller-bodied reds, including some standout and unexpected pours—particularly a Petit Verdot and a Cabernet-Malbec blend that really showcased the diversity and sophistication of Mendoza wines. Lunch at Atilio Avena was another highlight—absolutely delicious and paired beautifully with the wines. The experience went beyond wine, too, with an olive oil tasting where we learned about the olivícola process, adding another layer of appreciation for the region’s agricultural richness. We finished the day at Bodega Florio, which specializes in sweet wines. The tasting took place inside a former concrete tank, creating a unique and memorable setting that perfectly matched the distinctive wines. From start to finish, this tour was exceptional—intellectually engaging, delicious, and incredibly well-organized. Highly recommend for anyone looking to experience Mendoza at a deeper level.

Great journey in Mendoza wine fields

    Sylvain_B, Jan 2026
We had a private tour since we were only two for this tour. Micheal, our driver for the day, brought us to two wineries and during the driving we exchanged a lot on different subjects on Argentina & Canada. He spoke very well english. At the first winery, Sin Fin, the tour guide Arqui did an excellent job at explaining the full process from the earth to the bottleling process. At the second winery, Atilio Avena, again we had an excellent english speaking guide that gave us a good tour of their installation and we completed the tour with a excellent and tastefull 3 courses meal with wine pairing. We tasted 7 wines and did not stop filling our glasses. Thankfully we did not have to driver after. Thank you to our driver and the wineries people that made this journey unforgettable.

Very late pickup but tour mostly ok

    John_P, Dec 2025
When we actually started and then completed the tour it was ok. However the tour operator had a driver issue on the day of the tour and because of their internal processes did not immediately know they had a driver problem. Therefore we only found out they had a problem after we made contact with the tour operator via the Víator app. So eventually the 8 hour tour started 2.5 hours late without an English speaking driver/guide which also didn’t help us enjoy the day. The tour was eventually completed in 6 hours so a little rushed and not as relaxing or as good as it could have been. So not really a Viator problem but a tour operator problem. Ideally Viator should be following up with the tour operator and ensuring they fix their systems and processes so customers are not left hanging.

Our driver shared local history as we traveled to our winery experience. We had a wonderful day visiting 3 wineries and enjoyed a delicious lunch.

    Disappointed

    Jana_H, Dec 2024
If I could give it zero stars I would. I booked a small group experience and was greeted by an Uber driver that said she was to take me to the winery. First of all nobody communicated it would be an Uber driver and secondly, I was not taken to the area I booked. Due to that I had to rearrange the following day since the area I had booked was not visited. I tried to communicate throughout the day with the tour operator but to no avail! Beware if you plan on using this app! You do not get what you paid for! So disappointing and with a too bad so sad from Viator when I am asking for explanation and response!

    Response from Host, Dec 2024

Good morning Jana! We have verified that we have answered all your questions and doubts that arose during the experience via private message. As we indicated via private message, you had a personalized experience since there were no other passengers on the day selected to carry it out. This experience has a higher cost but was maintained due to this situation. On the other hand, the terms and conditions mention that the tour may undergo modifications, which in your case did not have any since all the services such as visits, tastings and lunch were fulfilled. We regret that the tour was not as you expected and we will take your opinion into account to improve our services.

A great day, the Argentinian way

    Jason_D, Nov 2024
All of the tours were great, the local winery guides spoke good English and Spanish. And gave us a thorough tour behind the scenes. The empanadas at lunch were amazing. Our tour guide was very nice, knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions.

A trip that is well worth it!

    Priscila_O, Jan 2026
It was worth it in all respects! Gustavo was the driver of our transfer and was punctual at the hotel, super polite, kind and patient throughout the tour. We still managed to make a stop in the middle of the way for an olive oil tasting which left our experience even better. In both wineries, we were very well received and very well served! The lunch menu was generous and delicious. I recommend everyone!

A highly recommended tour for people who like good wine.

    LuisCarlos_C, Dec 2025
A great experience where we were able to visit 3 wineries and learn more about the wine culture in Argentina and the process followed for its production, from the time the grape is received until the final product is ready. A tour that everyone who likes good wine should definitely do. Guide Daniel Aguilar also very knowledgeable about this type of tour, provided valuable information to make the experience really satisfying. A highly recommended tour.

    Excelente viaje.

Me encantó la experiencia, las visitas a las bodegas fueron muy completas con degustaciones en cada una de ellas, las explicaciones muy claras. El almuerzo estuvo completo y también acompañado de una degustación de vino. Lo recomiendo.
