A knowledgeable guide made all the difference
Our guide Jack was very friendly, fluent in English, and very attentive. He was not only knowledgeable about the geographic / geological features of Taroko Gorge, but also provided historical and social context of this unique place. We enjoyed his company and all his suggestions for hikes in the area. We would definitely recommend this experience.

Great tour with Jack!
Jack was a fantastic tour guide. Always attentive, informative, and knowledgeable. He knows all the spots to go and all the right ways to get there. Although the hiking trails in the park are closed post-earthquake, it is still open for driving tours and small stops along the way. Absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth it.
