By the end of the session you will be able to do the basic steps of the folklorist dance of Salento "Pizzica Pizzica" (Taranta). In this experience you will get a very significant portion of the Salento culture and you will not wish to be elsewhere.

With a local Nonna, you will learn how to prepare fresh handmade orecchiette pasta, following authentic Apulian tradition. After the cooking experience, you will discover the vibrant world of Pizzica, learning the basic steps of this traditional dance and experiencing the joy and energy that every Apulian feels when this incredible music begins to play. At the end of the experience, you will enjoy the freshly made orecchiette accompanied by a glass of local wine.

The most complete experience to enjoy Salento at 360 degrees. You will prepare orecchiette with a local grandmother, take a pizzica dance class and enjoy a rich dinner featuring typical products (fresh made orecchiette, frise, fresh local cheeses, panzerotti, and three glasses of local wine included) to fully immerse yourself in Salento’s culture. Cuisine, tradition, music, and conviviality combined into one unforgettable experience.
