The jungle atmosphere, mini waterfalls, and the chance to stop and swim at the foot of a stunning waterfall make this adventure an unforgettable experience. With the Yanbaru region's lush foliage and tranquil surroundings, the jungle trek offers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself in nature and rejuvenate with the Japanese pastime of forest bathing. Private and customisable; suitable for most ages and abilities, the trek can vary from a gentle dry path stroll to a waterfall for tea and relaxation, to a more challenging, extended walk, navigating the shallow riverbed and its rocks and boulders. The difficulty is directly related to your ability on the day. The jungle adventure stands out for its exciting journey following a river in Yambaru. Yanbaru's meaning is 'fields and mountains' and refers to the northern and greener part of Okinawa's main island; the region is home to a diverse range of species, many of which are endemic to the area.
