Smokvara has a rich and intense sweet flavor, with a pronounced aroma of ripe figs. The texture is thick, soft, and slightly sticky, while the dough absorbs the syrup it soaks in, giving it juiciness. The taste reminds of traditional homemade cakes, with a prominent natural sweetness of the figs and a subtle caramel-like note.
