Food Escapes are for people who want a unique experience in the city. A lot of walking tours or food tours can feel like you're being shown around but a Food Escape will feel like you are discovering the city for yourself in a novel way, with your choices shaping the route you take as the game unfolds. You'll have easier and harder challenges along the way, all the satisfaction of cracking each clue, and the reward of great food waiting when you get there. Food Escapes was built by locals for locals, to explore and eat in their own city in a way they never otherwise would have seen, but is ideal for any visitors to the city who are food lovers too who want something more memorable than another table booking or generic activity. With eight themed Food Escapes now live in Manchester, each one has its own flavour, mood and route, so guests can come back for something completely different every time.

Enjoy a relaxed 90-minute Sicilian food and wine pairing experience in the heart of Manchester’s Northern Quarter. The experience begins with a welcome glass of Prosecco and a Sicilian aperitivo, followed by a selection of four good-quality Sicilian wines—two white and two red—carefully paired with traditional regional dishes. Dessert is accompanied by a Sicilian liqueur. This is an informal dining experience, not a sommelier-led class, technical wine lesson or tutored tasting. The focus is on enjoying the relationship between authentic Sicilian food and carefully selected wines in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The experience includes a chef-selected set menu. The same menu is served to the entire table, and guests do not select dishes from the à la carte menu. Food substitutions are not available. Please note: unfortunately, we cannot accommodate any food allergies or intolerances, including mild or trace-level sensitivities.
