Fantastic half day (5 hours) tour of historic Samarkand! Sarvinoz our guide was excellent, spoke brilliant English and had the whole group engaged. Definitely recommend this tour to learn about the Timurid Empire and his descendants, but at the same time witnessing the beautiful architecture of the 13th to 15th centuries.
Wonderful and informative! I enjoyed the history, culture and breathtaking sites! I would highly recommend this tour!

Visited a few places as stated in the itinerary, so it was a good introduction to the key sites of Samarkand and to understand a bit more of its history and heritage. Savirnoz was a great guide who was also very knowledgeable of the history and stories of the places that we visited. The tour was done at a nice pace and she took the time to engage us (participants) in casual conversations to understand more about us and our experiences. She even provided time for us to take pictures once she was done with her sharing and offered to help to take our pictures. Overall, if u are to get Savirnoz as your guide for this tour, you'll enjoy it.
A wonderful introduction to the major historical landmarks and monuments with a well informed guide who spoke excellent English.
Ou guide Charos was well prepared and seemed to know a lot about not only Samarcand also about Uzbek history, highly recommended.
Knowledgeable young guide who speaks good english. Long walk. Definitely better to take in the late afternoon as the heat of the sun is unbearable.
Great experience and guide was very knowledgeable and good. We started the tour at amir temur Mausoleum and finished it at shahizinda. It was one of a kind experience
Our guide, Charos, was excellent. It’s a long tour so get ready to walk over 10k steps, is very in depth, entering all the main attractions (additional cost) and learning about the history of Samarkand and Amir Timur. Charos spoke great English, communicated really well and kept the whole tour fun. Even treated the group to some bread when we started to tire! Definitely recommended for an introduction to Samarkand.
