We honestly couldn't decide what we enjoyed more, her insights into Valencia's rich history and culture or her entertaining stories about life, love and being single in Valencia! Luda expertly guided us through the city's old and new districts, as well as along the beautiful waterfront. Her knowledge of Valencia was exceptional, and she brought each location to life with interesting facts and local perspectives. Some of the standout sights included the impressive Torres de Serranos, the vibrant Mercado Colón, the stunning Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas, the magnificent La Lonja de la Seda, and the historic Torres de Quart. We also loved seeing the striking City of Arts and Sciences and finishing at La Marina de Valencia with views of the sea and marina. What an absolute joy to spend these hours with our tour guides, along with Rafa and his team. Communication from Julieta was spot on and appreciated. Meeting point clearly explained. The drive to Rafa’s home was comfortable and Julieta conversed about what we were passing while being a very safe driver. We were warmly welcomed by Rafa as soon as we pulled up, entered his patio, offered cold beverages and proceeded up into his garden to pick our fresh rosemary to be used in our paella. This was the perfect paella cooking class, out of the city in the beautiful countryside near Parque Natural de la Albufera. Rafa was a perfect host, an excellent step by step instructor and the best Paella Master…WOW WOW WOW!!! As Rafa speaks his native Spanish, Julieta interpreted everything he said and was able to carry out his sense of humor. They were a perfect team and enhanced the experience. We were all welcomed in to Rafa’s home just like we were truly his guests and even his friends. Rafa you are a gem! The cold beverages, tapas, PAELLA, Sangria, fresh made cake by Rafa that morning, watermelon and after dinner wine were all excellent. Rafa’s team moved about seamlessly, clearing plates, filling wine glasses and scrubbing our Paella pans. This experience was truly unforgettable and 100% worth it. Thank you Rafa and Julieta for your knowledge and humor.

Go, even if there is no lightshow

Saint Nicholas is a beautiful church with outstanding ceiling fresco painting. However, since it is a little smaller, it does not automatically make it to the top 5 list for Valencia. The light show has made it a more famous destination. The light show partly highlights the ceiling paintings that you would not normally have been staring at for a long time. Glad we added this church.

Fantastic tour! Worth every penny

Bogie gave us a leisurely taste of old Valencia (just six of us). Beautiful weather in December. Bogie was very knowledgable on the history of Valencia and very patient with all our questions. A sophisticated presentation of tapas and five Valencia wines was delightful. We felt very pampered. Bogie then took just two of us to the incredible City of Arts and Science area, before putting us in a cab to take us back to our ship. We look forward to future tours with Seagram, through Viator.

Comprehensive Informative tour

Learned many interesting facts about the Nord train station- and then began our walk toward the Catbedral stopping and learning many interesting facts. Because is was a Thursday our guide made sure we arrived just before noon at the Cathedral in order to experience the an event that has been for the past hundreds of years every Thursday at 12 in the back of the church. The 9 districts meet outside to discuss any water issues between the communities. It was the first time a woman took part. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the several sites. Her friendly manner with her sense of humor made it a fun, informative tour. A unique site was looking at below ground Roman bath ruins that were covered with a glass cover and then water on top so that it was possible to see them. When we ended at the market she stayed and answered everyone’s where to go next questions and even emailed us restaurant suggestions. I highly recommend this comprehensive informative tour.
