Excellent tour - very lovely and informative!
Ian was a perfect host/guide. So knowledgeable. So helpful. Just all together a wonderful time. The Cotswald's are awesome-not to be missed! I'd been before, but I loved how Ian gave us the perfect mix of beloved favorites and new, charming places I never would have known about

Exceptional day in Oxford with Lauren
What a beautiful city and a great day trip in a very walkable town. Our guide, Lauren was simply exceptional--just the right amount of detail and special things to note that you might otherwise miss (e.g. the subterannean library under the "Blackwell Bookstore". It's always a privilege to have such a guide. Couldn't recommend this any higher, and Lauren, if you're lucky enough to book her. Pro tip: after the day enjoy dinner at The Folly, a lovely, casual but upscale restaurant on the Thames with a proper chef looking after the menu. Quality was some of the best we've had in the UK.

Great tour of Oxford!
We had a wonderful tour of Oxford and would highly recommend it! Our guide, Jeremy, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience truly enjoyable. As we walked through the city, he shared fascinating information along with engaging stories that really brought Oxford’s history and charm to life. It was a perfect way to explore and learn more about such a beautiful and historic place. Definitely recommend this tour!

A well-planned, informative tour
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable — not a comedian like so many in this line of work, but when it comes to this sort of thing I value accurate information over “a good story”. We spent what I thought was the appropriate amount of time at Stonehenge, and a good deal of time in Bath.
I will say that the Bath walking portion of the tour may prove very difficult for those with limited mobility. We were handed off to a local guide for that part, starting down next to the Abbey and the Roman Baths, but our driver/guide met us again at the top of a tall and very steep hill.

It was a pretty day but...
It was a pretty day but quite chilly and windy. Our guide had lovely warm blankets for us which we appreciated. The tea was a bit cold, but all the items on tea tray were delicious and plentiful. The boat ride itself is definitely worth it. It’s such a different view from the water and so lovely. Our guide was terrific. He left it to us how much history and talking we wanted. He was very friendly and knowledgeable and offered some excellent commentary as we enjoyed our ride down the river. Would definitely recommend.

The cruise was such a fun experience—I absolutely loved it. Max was incredibly cheerful and made the whole journey enjoyable. Even when it started raining, he took great care of everyone by keeping us warm with blankets. He explained everything so well and kept the vibe light and fun. Really glad to have had him!

Fantastic Tour of the Cotswolds
Fantastic highly organized tour of the Cotswold area. It would be extremely hard to do this on your own in a day. The tour goes to very picturesque villages. Our train was a little delayed and the guide was able to wait for us which was really appreciated. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the area and really gave a great narrative of what we were seeing. We highly recommend this tour.

Insightful tour by Nicola, a recently minted PhD in medieval history.
Insightful tour of Oxford by Nicola, a recently minted PhD in medieval history. Nicola provided access to college interiors and exterior quads. His narrative provided important historical and social context, adding to our understanding of Oxford’s 800 year history. The tour was well paced and engaging. We enjoyed it immensely!

For history and architecture lovers it absolutely must
I booked a sightseeing tour in Oxford a couple of days ago. The weather wasn’t great—cold and windy—but at least it stayed dry. I decided to join the included walking tour, and it ended up being just two of us plus our guide, Lesley. She walked us through the old town, sharing stories and answering all our questions. She even gave us great advice on what to see since we were short on time. Thank you, Lesley! I highly recommend this walking tour.
