Well worth the money and time
Rio is a rich city with a great deal of history, culture, and political diversity. The tour speaks to all of it in a day. You will see and hear about all of this in the day you're with the guide. Gustavo was excellent, well versed, and his passion about the city showed. It is an excellent way to get to know Rio just a bit better.

Stunning and well organised
A brilliant way to see the best of the park. The first hike was honestly so beautiful and the rewarding view at the top was a highlight of my whole trip. The activity went well over 5 hours though, not sure if that’s because we had too much to fit in, or the group spent too long taking photos at each destination… but something to plan for in case you have something organised for the afternoon.

Amazing tour 1000/10
This was my only tour I did my whole 10 day trip in Brazil because it was so amazing I didn’t need another. We covered EVERYTHING and the buffet was awesome my guide Karine was so helpful and knowledgeable. She spoke in English and German so easy and even helped in Portuguese when I needed her to!

Wonderful Tour of Rio!
We had an excellent experience on this tour and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to see the major highlights of Rio! It was a great way to visit three of the city’s must-see attractions — Christ the Redeemer, Selarón Steps, and Sugarloaf Mountain — while also seeing several other sights along the way. We especially appreciated having all of our tickets and admissions arranged in advance, which made the experience easy and stress-free.
Our tour guide, Jal, was phenomenal! He shared interesting and relevant information throughout the day, kept our group of about 19–20 people organized and on schedule, and was genuinely a joy to spend the day with. We also really appreciated that he spoke fluent English and Spanish in addition to Portuguese, which was a huge benefit for such a diverse group.
We were extremely lucky with the weather, particularly at Christ the Redeemer. Since we were among the first pickups of the morning, we arrived at the Visitor Center around 7 a.m., when it was surprisingly chilly — especially being in the rainforest! By the time we made our way up to the statue around 8 a.m., however, it had warmed up considerably. We had great visibility at Christ the Redeemer and beautiful weather for the remainder of the day.
The itinerary was also paced very well. We had a good amount of time at each of the major stops, so we never felt overly rushed, but we also never felt like we were spending too much time in one place.
Lunch was another nice part of the experience. It was great to enjoy a traditional Brazilian BBQ meal while in Rio. The meats were especially good, and there was a surprisingly large selection of additional items available at the “salad” buffet.
One thing to be mindful of when planning your day is the overall tour length. The tour is advertised as approximately 8 hours, but because we were the first guests picked up and the last guests dropped off, our total time was closer to 12 hours. It is definitely a full-day experience, so I would avoid making firm plans for immediately afterward.
Our only real disappointment was that we were supposed to make a stop outside the stadium, which we had been looking forward to. It ultimately became a drive-by rather than an actual stop, presumably because some members of the group spent additional time at an earlier location. It was a minor disappointment in an otherwise excellent day, but worth mentioning if that particular stop is important to you.
Overall, we highly recommend this tour. It was well organized, thoughtfully paced, and an excellent way to experience several of Rio’s most iconic sights in one day. Jal made an already great experience even better, and we would absolutely recommend touring with him!

We loved the Tijuca hike!...
We loved the Tijuca hike! It was a very pleasant way to spend the morning. Our tour guide, Daniel, is a super nice very easy going person. He was knowledgeable, he engaged in conversations, and was attentive while hiking to ensure all of our safety. He even gave us a good recommendation for lunch☺️

Roxy Dinner Show
The meal was good. Not the best meal we had while in Rio, but good enough. The opening act was “ok.” It was a lot of time to fill before the main event. Honestly, it was an extremely long evening and we were on the verge of leaving after dinner, which would have been one of the biggest mistakes ever because the “show” was SPECTACULAR! I grew up going to broadway shows and this Brazilian cultural experience was one of the best shows ever! I knew less than 5% of the words sung or spoken and yet I felt like I was a part of the culture and with family. What an amazing experience. Kudos!

Iconic Rio experience
We had a great experience with Meilin, who was a knowledgeable, caring and thoughtful tour guide for our group. She had plenty of historical and cultural information to share with us. We were blessed to have a lovely clear morning at Christ the Redeemer so that we could see it (on some days it can be obscured by clouds!). There were plenty of crowds at both Christ and Sugarloaf mountain, but having chosen the included tickets made the experience smoother. Delightful views at both.

Amazing 7 hour private tour with Higor!
Did a private tour led by an incredible guide, Higor. Very well versed in English, extremely knowledgeable about local history and culture and incrediblly “connected” with the workers at each site. He was greeted at every location like he was the local mayor! I purchased skip the line tickets and “skipping lines” was an understatement! Higor escorted me past other groups with guides and right into the heads of the lines up and back Sugar Loaf. He also is an excellent photographer and could use not only my iPhone to take pics of me but also my pro Canon DSLR. It was such a wonderful experience and I always felt safe and looked after. THANK YOU HIGOR!!!!!

Fun with clouds
Allesondro was our guide. He was knowledgeable and kept a larhe group on task. He had a couple group members that didn't follow directions but he still handled it with grave. The sights were amazing and lunch at the steakhouse was great! The weather was a bit cloudy for good pictures but that is not in control of tour group.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful private tour with Frederico!
Frederico was absolutely wonderful! He took me to so many incredible places throughout Rio and shared so much information about Brazil, the history, the culture, each place we visited, and even things we saw along the way. I learned so much from him throughout the entire day.
What really stood out to me was how kind and patient he was. I was having some difficulty walking and was moving more slowly, and he never once made me feel rushed. He was incredibly attentive, helping me cross streets, holding my hand when I needed it, and helping me get on and off the vans and cable cars. I felt very safe and well cared for the entire time.
His English was excellent, which made everything so easy, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind. Even after the tour was over, he sent me suggestions for other places I might enjoy during the rest of my time in Rio.
Frederico went above and beyond and made my day in Rio incredibly special. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a private tour. Thank you, Frederico, for such a memorable day! ❤️

Incredible experience. My...
Incredible experience. My instructor made me feel very relaxed and I saw the most beautiful views in a peaceful flight down to the beach. One thing to note is that there are weight restrictions due to safety with hang gliding so my partner had to paraglide instead, which we found out the day before. I think all the sails should be the Brazilian flag or colours as it makes the photos and videos even better!

Beth was absolutely...
Beth was absolutely incredible! So knowledgeable and very flexible to build the day with! We definitely felt safe have her with us! We were able to see everything we wanted and more! We were able to start the day off at the Selarón steps and walk around Santa Teresa definitely worth going early for before it gets too crowded, then we went to the cathedral and Lage Park, even though the inside was closed for remodeling the outside is well worth seeing and walking around, we then got a little sweet treat at Rio cafe and headed up to Christ the redeemer. After that we finished off at sugar loaf mountain and ate at a Brazilian Steakhouse. Absolutely worth getting a private tour! Money well spent! Carlos was also an amazing driver! I loved Beth’s personality we meshed very well and like I said earlier the flexibility she had with little changes to what we initially had planned made it all the better! She definitely suggested how to plan to get the most of the day and our money!
