We did the Bengil cave...
We did the Bengil cave tour in a rib boat! It was a windy and Lots of waves kind of day which was a lot fun! We did not see any dolphins but did get to see inside the cave which was high on my priority list!! Amazing! The guides were great! I would highly recommend this tour!! 🌊😊

Fantastic Fred!
Fred was our guide, he was amazing - funny, proud of his country and full of knowledge about the area and Portugal. The history and explanation about cork and all of the land and crops was incredible! All the stops were fantastic, the view from the mountain top (Pico Alto) was nothing short of phenomenal, you can see everything! The Firewater tasting was awesome 😉 As well as the honey and jams! Bring water shoes for the waterfall as the rocks are slippery, also it is very refreshing (chilly) and is a beautiful spot. Thank you Fred for a fantastic day! This tour is well worth the money!

Good day but a hike
Ricardo was a good guide. Showed us all the hot spots for good pictures. We recommend this tour but if you are not steady on your feet it might not be for you. There is walking on uneven rocky hilly terrain but you also have a second option to meet the van up ahead without walking the whole 2.5km. The washrooms at the top of marihna beach we're nit working so we took the steps down to the beach area and used the one down there. Its a bit of a walk down. We never did the secret beach because the opening inside the cave was too tight but got a good picture at the front of the opening. It was fun. Fit to see some cats that live there. The municipality built them a shelter which is nice.

Fantastic experience!
Beautiful scenery! Very helpful & kind crew. It was great to have drinks available for purchase & a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Three hours was the perfect length of time for the trip to the Benagil cave. We chose this catamaran as it had a bathroom and comfortable seating. We would highly recommend this trip to all ages!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

It may be hard to leave behind Albufeira’s beaches for a day, but if you do, you’ll be rewarded with a whole host of attractions and experiences. Head west to discover Silves and its Moorish castle, Monte Fóia (the highest point in the Algarve), and the cliffs of Sagres and Lagos, or journey east to Faro, Olhão, and Tavira. Albufeira day trips showcase how much more the region has to offer aside from its beautiful beaches, whether you want to explore sea caves by boat, the countryside by Jeep, take a pilgrimage to Fátima, or hop across the Spanish border to Seville.
