Exceeded Our Wxpectstions

We had a wonderful tour, and it far exceeded our expectations. Patrik was friendly and warm, extremely knowledgeable about the area, and eager to answer any questions we had. He got us to Sintra in time for breakfast and coffee, and we were still one of the first to the Quinta da Regaleira (which has been our favorite part of our tour so far!) He handled anything that came up to make sure we all had a relaxing day and we didn’t have to worry about hurrying or where to be when. Lunch was also a fantastic experience. We had a wonderful day and will recommend this tour to anyone else we know coming to visit. Thank you Patrik for a lovely day!

Abrigada João!

This is a MUST do experience! A wonderful way to learn about Porto and see the sights. Our tour guide Joao was a wonderful host, despite some setbacks. Our group did not receive tickets for Liveria Lello and he had to explain that to every person in our large group (the company provided a discount). He also had to translate everything in English and Spanish! He did an incredible job and provided an unforgettable and enjoyable experience. Abrigada!!

Two Thumbs Up!

This is an amazing way to see Lisboa! You could not possibly see what we did by yourself in one day. The city is very, very hilly so I wouldn't suggest walking it the entire time of your trip. Our guide, Pedro, is passionate about his country and very knowledgable about its history. You will learn a lot of interesting things.

Super fun intro to Lisbon

My family did a half day tour on our first day in Lisbon and it was the most fun way to see a number of sites across the city. Our driver and guide Goncalo Santos was fantastic. He clearly loves his hometown and was eager to share all about its history and sites. Super enjoyable for both grown ups and the kids (ages 6 and 9). Highly recommend!

Outstanding UNESCO Day Trip from Lisbon

The Sintra & Cascais excursion was one of the highlights of our visit to Portugal. Our guide, Luis, was exceptionally knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and provided fascinating insights into Sintra’s rich cultural heritage. His commentary added depth and context to every stop, making the experience both educational and enjoyable. Luis was also very helpful during the unguided portions of the tour, offering practical advice on what to see, where to go, and how to make the most of our free time. His recommendations helped us maximize our experience in both Sintra and Cascais. This excursion is a must for anyone interested in UNESCO World Heritage sites. It was an excellent value and included access to locations that larger tour buses simply cannot reach. The smaller vehicle allowed us to explore more efficiently and comfortably. For visitors staying in Lisbon, this is the perfect day trip and an outstanding introduction to some of Portugal’s most beautiful and historically significant destinations.

This is a great way to...

This is a great way to start your trip. It gets you oriented to the neighborhood. The food we tried was all delicious. We even went back to a couple of spots for a full meal. There is one large hill to walk up, but the guides go slow and wait for everyone to get acclimated, so unless you have serious mobility issues, or require a walker or wheel chair, you should be able to do this tour. I learned about Portugal and its place in the world as well as its many colonies. This is a worthwhile endeavor!

A must do for your entry into Lisbon!

This was the perfect introduction to Lisbon’s food scene. I recommend doing this soon upon arrival. It was a mix of history, culture, and of course, proper Portuguese dishes from the best of the best in the city. Our guide, Philippe, was exceptional! He was so kind and thoughtful about everyone’s specific needs as well as a wealth of information regarding the city and countries rich history. I can’t recommend this enough.
