This was my wife and Is favorite activity while in Santorini! Super easy logistics - they pick you up and drop you off near your hotel. While on the boat, they prepare amazing food, unlimited beer and wine, and incredible swimming/snorkeling experiences. Not to mention seeing the best sunset in the world! 10/10!

We had an incredible time on the Athens Full Day Private Tour. George, our guide, was FANTASTIC!! It was our first time to Greece and we would only be in Athens for two days. We wanted to see as much as possible and this tour fit the bill and exceed expectations!!! We fit all of the major locations - Acropolis, Parthenon, Agora, Proplyea, Temple of Athena, Temple of Zeus, Panathenaic Stadium (1st modern Olympics Games), Athens "balcony" to overlook entire city, changing of the guard, National Archeological Musuem, and many many more. The tour was perfect!! Lunch was in Koukaki and I've gotta say that was the BEST gyro I've ever eaten. I get them in the U.S. all the time, but nothing compares to this!!! George kept us on time, but we never felt rushed even with a jammed packed schedule. He shared history, local expertise, answered questions, and a few laughs along the way. He was knowledgeable, fun, charismatic, just a joy to be around, and we had a blast spending the day with him. Highly recommend this tour from Olive by the Sea!!!

We did our tour with John...

We did our tour with John the Archeologist. He was so knowledgeable and funny. He kept the tour moving and made sure to stop in shady spots to give us more details and expand on the history of the acropolis and Parthenon. He had a set of laminated photos that really brought it to life and had renderings of what it would have looked like when it was new and in use. 100% would recommend.

10/10 Acropolis experience

We enjoyed every single minute of our Acropolis tour! Our guide, Lidia, was absolutely amazing. As a historian, she shared so many unique and sometimes astonishing facts that truly brought the history to life. The tour perfectly covered both the Acropolis Museum and the actual archaeological site. Plus, she knew exactly where to take us for the best photo spots. Highly recommend!

A great half day experience

Such a great informative and fun tour our guide, Ria, provided! Two of us had been to Athens before but we experienced sites not previously known. It was a first time visit for the other couple and was a perfect blend of history and culture Ria presented to them. We were picked up at our hotel promptly and the driver was thoughtful and experienced driving in the bustling city traffic. Our only complaint would be the included lunch of moussaka which was subpar. Our advice is to definitely skip the lunch.

Its Amazing and Fruitful, Very entertaining and fascinating. Ellen the Tour Guide is very informative and knowledgeable about the whole Acropolis, she can answer our questions gratefully. My most favorite guide ever. She never stopped giving us the history and tied it to current day wrapped up with a bow of love. My husband is a history nut and he learned so much from her. Don’t sleep on this one. The Athenian Guides are very proud, kind, and so knowledgeable.

Great way to start our visit in Santorini

Great way to start our first time in Santorini. The pickup near our hotel in Imerovigli to the port was a nice way to orient ourselves to the island. The Spiridakos Sailing company who ran the tour were professional. The catamarans were well maintained and had enough room for us to move around and spend time enjoying the views from different locations on the boat. The crew of the Evana were knowledgeable and very accommodating sharing about the different geography of the beaches we passed. There were 2 opportunities to swim in the water and the ladder on the boat made it easy to get on and off into the water. The crew grilled a nice Greek dinner on the boat after our swim and we sailed back to the port enjoying the sunset.

What a Day!

We had an amazing day with an amazing crew who supplied everything we could want. The weather was great, but the water was cold. We got in because we weren’t going to Mykanos and not gett in the water. We snorkeled a bit and there was a paddle board. We had to stay behind the boat the entire time in the water because there were so many other boats around. But it was understandable for safety.

Great excursion

We highly recommend this tour for anyone traveling to Athens. The length of the tour and size of the group were perfect. We had plenty of time to experience all the beauty of the Athenian coast and Temple of Poseidon and enjoy lunch at a beach bar. Our tour guide Milda was friendly and made the tour fun for the group.

Great tour if you only have a short time to spend in Athens

This was a really nice way to see some of the highlights of Athens if you only have a short time in the city. Beware - the Acropolis is insanely crowded, the marble is slippery, and there were no working bathrooms at the top, which seems to be the status quo. Our Acropolis guide, George, walked so fast and weaved in and out of the crowd like a local, resulting in a few people getting lost by the end of the tour, which was the only downside. Our other guide in the van was great and we loved the walking tour through Athens the best, as she provided a lot of information about the history of the area, current events, and recommended some areas to explore in our free time.
